Unbelievable work, customer service, and overall attitude. In all honesty, I usually write reviews, good or bad, for products and services that we have purchased, but HIDR is one of those reviews where 5 stars is not even close to enough for how terrific they were. Jennifer and Sean were very easy to work with, they were beyond accommodating and most of all I appreciated their patience with me as I didn't make it the easiest process for them. My experience with HIDR, exceptional. I was looking to have a new sound system installed in my boat. I really didn’t know exactly what I wanted and Sean came out for a consult and tailored a system that was within my budget and met all my needs out of a system. I was leaving to go out of town with the boat within a week of the consult and wanted the system installed ASAP prior to leaving. They were able to adjust the install schedule to fit me in to go on vacation with a new sound system. The pricing reasonable, the recommended system incredible, the staff awesome and easy to work with. Highly recommend for your electronic needs.

I wanted to remove some old led lights on my pontoon boat and replace them with updated ones I can use with an app on my phone. I also replaced a fishfinder with another type that was a GPS/fishfinder that also could monitor my boat engine. I thought it was all pretty complicated and when I contacted HIDR they assured me they could do the work. After receiving an estimate for the work I gave the go ahead. They were able to do the entire job in one day and showed me the work as they were doing it. I found them easy to talk with, they explained everything totally to me. When I took my boat out and tried it all, it worked perfectly, much better than I had expected. I would highly recommend this company if you want lighting or electronics installed.

I was in the market for a new stereo system for my boat. I reached out to HIDR about installing some new speakers and an amplifier. Sean was very flexible and was able to work around my schedule to come to the boat and give his direction and advise on what would work best. He was very knowledgeable about the product and also the location in which would give the best sound for the speakers we would use, instead of just adding more speakers. After the install I have been very pleased with the quality of work and the performance of the new stereo system. I would hightly recommend HIDR for any marine stereos or light upgrades!

Jennifer and Sean at HIDR were amazing. After calling others and never getting a call back or trying to sell me something it I did not need. I called HIDR and they came out the same day to look at the issue I was having with the system on my boat. Sean throughly discussed all of the options and never tried to sell me something I did not need. After Sean left Jennifer worked up a very competitive estimate and kept me up to date during the process. The equipment needed to be ordered in was in less then a week for install. Sean came back out to install within a week and walked me through all of the features when completed. Very professional from start to finish. I would highly recommend HIDR.

I absolutely cannot say enough about this company, their level of service, and the dedication to "making it right". They embody the "old school' belief in the value of customer service and quality workmanship. I contacted them to help with a warranty issue with an MFD on a new boat that the dealership couldn't solve. I'd been struggling to get it fixed for several months when I found out HIDR was an approved tech for that manufacturer.  HIDR became my absolute advocate with the manufacturer, got the unit pulled out and sent back for evaluation, and reinstalled the new unit right away! They even came out on a weekend, at their insistence, since they were concerned I'd waited so long already. Also had them install an ACR Guardian MOB system... a great wireless tether. For marine hardware/ electronics/ sound systems.. they're my new " go to!" around Charlotte, for sure!

Everything about working with Sean & Jennifer was FANTASTIC!! We had been putting off installing a new stereo system in our pontoon for years because of so many people telling us what we needed, until we heard from another customer on what a great experience working with HIDR was. Absolutely awesome quality install. I wish I can give them 100 stars in how he expertly installed my electronics in my boat. HIDR does not cut corners and ensures an absolute perfect install. I was personally there for the install and both the knowledge and quality of craftmanship clearly is the best I have witness in my life.

First, he came down to the boat and we discussed options and recommedations. Then an install date was set and he showed up on time. He made aure that every aspect of then job was complete, used the best quality materials, and ultimately went over the set up. HIDR is exactly what it stands for "Have It Done Right!" If you have a Hummingbird, chances are you have or will have software update problems. I understand this problem is not limited to Hummingbird. If you want it taken care of, don't bother calling Hummingbird. HIDR is your solution. Sean Williams is your man. #1 They answer their phone. They don't hide behind a six level computerized answering device. My Birds were flying with clipped wings. Before the latest update could be installed I needed to first update to the previous version. I'm a technician and usually don't have a problem with this. I've been working with computers and electronic controls since Bill Gates was in grade school. After three or four hours and getting nowhere, I remembered my best friend gave me a business card for HIDR. I gave them a call. Sean answered on the third ring. Who does that today? I found out Sean is the "go to guy" and "Inland Rep" for all things a fisherman needs for the electronics on his boat. We scheduled a service call and he showed up on the scheduled date and on time. My two birds are flying again and Sean gave me the part #'s of the cables needed to network them together. I have a trolling motor up front with down imaging and a console bird with transducer on the rear. After the software upgrade on the console bird I also had down imaging on the rear as well. Who knew it was built into the rear transducer and all that was needed to use it was a software upgrade.

I wholeheartedly recommend HDMI.

Hard to find "real service" on anything this day and time.

The process from initial phone call to completion of install was seamless!

I contacted HIDR to install a NMEA 2000, Deep Cycle (2nd battery) and Battery Switch on my 2020 StarCraft.

Jennifer is prompt and scheduling was a breeze.

Sean is extremely knowledgeable! Our initial interaction was a FREE, in person quote. In person? But why as isn’t it so much trouble to trailer a boat to a shop? No, as Sean met me at my boat storage area and gave an in depth quote on site! I don’t know of another company that requests to see your boat in person to insure the proper equipment is ordered to meet your needs. Sean listened to what my expectations were and installed exactly to my wishes. Everything looks factory installed. Sean even relocated my Garmin transducer for better functionality at no charge. Customer service at its best.

Jennifer has followed up multiple times since the install simply to insure that everything is working properly. That is above and beyond standard customer service.

I have several more boat improvements coming up and HIDR will be the only company I choose to do business with.
